Movie Review: Charade

For those of you who love great classics this is for you. It's a mystery/romance with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

The main plot is a woman (Audrey Hepburn) who's running from a group of old war veterans who were friends with her husband who has been found murdered. They are after a treasure they say he has stolen from them and they assume she has it hidden somewhere. Cary Grant plays a man who is supposedly helping her find that treasure and at the same time protecting her from the murderous group of men who want to kill her and take the treasure they feel is rightfully theirs. Throughout the movie though you can't ever seem to tell who he is or what side he's on.

You don't know the villian until the very end, but it's done very well. This film is suspensful, romantic, and fast paced. It has you wondering who you can trust the whole time, and the ending is fabulous. If you're already a fan of the main actors you've got to agree this is a fabulous movie. It does have a couple scary scenes though, so I wouldn't recommend the entire thing for children but this is perfect for a romantic couple movie night. Hope you enjoy
